Technology-chain for producing, repairing and recycling of products in material-mix-construction (02PB2217)
Within the framework of the collaborative research project ProREMIX
“Technology-chain for producing, repairing and recycling of products in
material-mix-construction” the development of a process chain for the
whole life cycle of individualised material-mix-components was done at
the project partners from science and industry. A primary aim of this
research project is to develop a stable process and the required
equipment for joining of dissimilar materials.
The approach of BIAS is to develop a laser-plasma hybrid process for
fluxless joining of aluminium-steel tailored hybrid blanks. The
development of this working head was supplied by sensor systems for
measurement as well as a new method so-called “Colour-Schlieren”.
Another focus was on the qualification of the system as well as on the
identification of appropriate parameter envelopes. The knowledge
obtained the use of the system also for other welding processes.
