Mikromal
Optimal cold forming of smallest parts by system (SFB 747 ÖA)
Since its foundation in January 2007, the SFB 747 practices active public relations. Furthermore the SFB tries to appeal to the general public as well as encouraging the youth through additional PR-arrangements and rules of the modern scientific communication in the project “mikromal”, to create a positive surrounding for micro forming. The scientists are directing the activities, e.g. school projects, on their own. Thereby they gain professional support through the project coordinator. To realize the planed goals the German Research Foundation (DFG) has granted additional funds for the PR-project “mikromal” during the period of April 2008 until 2010.
