Full Penetration Welding
Laser-welding for pipeline constructions (BAM VH 5484)
Work carried out within this project had the aim to detect signals during pipeline welding correlating with the welding result in such a way that a conclusion can be drawn whether the material was fully penetrated or not. Therefore, several measuring concepts were developed and transferred into a laboratory setup which was able to work on-line and detect signals from the outside of the pipe.
